JobHermes — AI Job Hunting Agent
TypeScriptNode.jsGPT-4oSQLitenode-cronPlaywright

Autonomous agent that scrapes, scores, and applies to jobs — runs daily at 9 AM IST

The challenge: Job hunting is unstructured noise. The challenge was building a system that could filter hundreds of listings down to ranked opportunities with zero manual effort daily.

Poshible.ai — POSH Act Q&A Platform
Node.jsOpenAIAWS S3OpenSearchGoogle AuthREST APIs

AI-powered legal Q&A serving 500+ daily queries at 95% accuracy

The challenge: Building a RAG pipeline that stays accurate on domain-specific legal content (POSH Act) — and handles abuse via subscription enforcement.

The challenge: Engineering a fault-tolerant redirection flow capable of surviving massive traffic spikes from live events.

//00 PHILOSOPHY

HowIthinkaboutengineering

//01

Systems over features.

I optimise for the system that enables 10 features, not the feature itself. I built a job-matching engine that can swap LLM providers without changing a line of business logic.

//02

Observability is not optional.

Shipping without metrics is guessing. I integrated OpenTelemetry tracing into our QR platform before launch day — because you can't fix what you can't see.

//03

APIs are contracts, not implementations.

Consumers shouldn't care how it works internally. I designed our core APIs so the entire underlying infrastructure could be swapped without breaking a single client integration.

//04

Boring technology wins.

Reach for Redis before a custom cache. Postgres before a NoSQL scramble. Battle-tested infrastructure is how you maintain uptime on systems that actually matter.

Why both tracks matter

I build the system

I design and ship backend systems — REST APIs, data pipelines, and internal platforms. At Revolt Motors I've built an ITSM platform, a QR campaign engine, and a license management system from scratch.

I make sure it holds

I also own the automation layer that keeps those systems production-stable. 200+ API tests, 150+ UI flows, Appium mobile coverage — all running in CI on every push.

"Most teams hire two people for this. I do both."

Async-first communicator

I document decisions in writing, over-communicate blockers early, and ship working demos instead of long status updates.

IST timezone, flexible overlap

Based in India (UTC+5:30). I regularly overlap with EU morning (10am–2pm IST) and US evening. I default to deep work blocks, not infinite standups.

PR-driven, test-first mindset

Small, reviewable PRs with clear descriptions. I treat code review as knowledge transfer, not gatekeeping.
